We’re going for two weeks this August. Coming from the U.K. we felt this was the most sensible option. We’re planning on mixing in plenty of downtime at AKL and visiting a few other resorts/areas. Our kids love bikes and mini golf so it will hopefully provide a nice balance with the parks.

Thanks CaptainAmerica and dreamfinder. Do the fridges provided typically have enough room for a normal sized wine bottle to stand up in? We’re stating at AKL if that makes a difference.

If you use GG to deliver to a resort is there any rule against getting alcohol delivered? Obviously this would only be consumed in the room.

We’ve booked lunch in August on the basis that it would be something unique and unusual for our 8 year old and 4 year old. Does the food justify the visit without the carrying on or should we change the booking?
