I love the GMR. It's my favorite Disney ride, and has been for a good decade. I just turned 23 and have always been a big movie fan. Haven't seen every movie on that ride...but am familiar with all of them I love the Alien scene. It used to scare me as a kid, but that's part of the charm...

THAT's what the backside of water joke is supposed to imply? I never understand that joke, either. I always just assumed the CM said it to be silly--as if the backside of water looks much different from the frontside. I thought that was the joke, I guess.

I wouldn't say every ride is Story based...you have some rides that are certainly story based--like a Dinosaur with a clear cut objective for the riders. Then you'll have rides like Test Track which is just a thrill ride, really.

What are your favorite types of rides...and more specifically...WHY? For example, there are some people who just love thrill rides. They love Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain, Tower of Terror, Rockin' Roller Coaster... Other people might like more fun, "kiddie" type rides...

This really is a great ride...it's too bad the big Mickey hat obscures the view of the complete replica of the Grauman's Chinese Theater! I love this ride though...can someone explain how they dummied down the Alien scene? It's one of those rides that, at least for me, I feel like you...

Yep, I just got back from my FL trip and you guys were right on. Saw Lucy in the gift shop.

I stayed at the Vistana resort, and they run Kryssa on a 24 hour loop still. Granted, it's a year old video, but she's still there and not this Stacey girl.

I know it featured the characters driving in cars, and the music being played was "Spotlight on a Dream." Anyone know if that's still there, and if so, is the music the same or different? Thanks.
