On the whole I'm fairly indifferent to CoP. I do have some nostalgia associated with it but I do wish that Disney would at least update it somewhat. Had they done so years ago it would likely be more popular than it is today. Or maybe it just isn't cost-effective to do so.

The only Disney gift I got was the POTC DVD ... but it wasn't the version I wanted! I wanted the 3 disc version and instead got the 2 disc one. Ah, well. Well I also got a new iPod which has some Disney music on it. Does that count? LOL

Agreed. That movie really hasn't stood the test of time. I doubt many kids these days even know of it.

It's one of the great things about the internet. It brings together people with similar interests. I know people who enjoy Disney but no one I know is truly the Disney nut that I am. Coming to this site & others definitely helps me get my "Disneyworld fix".
