DINOSAUR closed for refurbishment July 25 - November 20 2016

Don't tell my daughter but I'm secretly glad this ride is going to be down for refurb so I can actually catch the FoW show and she won't bug me to go on over and over again. I like the attraction but will save so much time by skipping Dinoland altogether except for the Nemo show. Looking...

    Dining Plan Menu Question

I'm not sure if they still have it but the Miso Salmon was amazing.

I will never stay off site. It is Disney or nothing.

I agree with all the on-siters! We "save" money by not having to rent a car and using 95% Disney transport and 5% cabs, if needed, after a late or before an early dining reservation at another Disney Resort/Hotel. Not having to drive, find parking, remember parking, the bubble, quality of...

"exciting" new attractions that opened this year

I'm thinking all the experiences listed is a lot of new stuff and regardless of other's reviews, that's exciting. Besides, I feel trying new dining options, snacks, exploring new resorts, doing new out of park fun things and being on vacation with family is exciting too. Maybe I'm just too...

Norway Pavilion's Stave Church closing for refurbishment amid hints of Frozen ride opening date

I like it! It's educational and will grab the attention of kids whose parents drag them into it or they, out of curiosity, wander into themselves.

Help with extra activities at WDW

We're trying the Wishes Dessert Party for the first time when we go in August but some fun things I've done in the past are Cirque Du Soleil, mini-golfing, street performers, boat ride and ice cream at Boardwalk and the dinner shows (Hoop de doo and Spirit of Aloha).

Is Epcot a Two Day Park? Or Less?

We always do Epcot over two days. One day in Future World, one in World Showcase. I'm thinking this will be extra convenient for getting Fastpasses for Soarin and FEA since they are in separate areas and not needed on the same day.

Changes at WDW due to alligator attack (dedicated thread)

Oh good! So the water transport is back at FW? I hadn't seen an update on this and I was planning to use the boats to get from MK to FW for HDD in August. I was hoping lack of water transport wouldn't end up being one of the changes from the alligator attack.

From the OS: Gator drags child into Seven Seas Lagoon

That is a bit strange not to hear a word about it but I wouldn't expect too much spoken about it either since there are a lot of children around and people are trying to go to their happy place. I think adults/teenagers are feeling it but keeping it in for the sake of the vacation. I hope you...

    Wishes Dessert Party?

Are the tables assigned or first come, first serve? Park hopping over from Epcot that day so may not make it extra early. Tinker bell is till flying, I assume? Oh yeah, what if it rains?

Funny DW stories you'd like to share?

Once when I was staying at the CBR I was having a major bed bug paranoia moment. I was alone at the room, doing laundry, when I noticed a couple small brown spots on the sheets on one of the beds. I immediately thought we may have bed bugs and called the front desk for them to investigate...

    Fantasmic Dinner Package after 10/31?

I'm wondering why it's still called the dinner package when it seems that only lunch is available? I could only book until four on 8/27 for Mama Melrose and lunch runs until 4:15.

Can't decide between Coronado and Port Orleans Riverside

Where are the best places to watch the fireworks and which ones can you see? My family and I are staying there for the first time in a preferred room in August. Super excited to see the resort!

    Preferred Rooms at Coronado

Thanks! I have been to WDW about 15 times and have never made it here until this year. For some reason It appealed to me the least out of all the moderates. I was able to upgrade from a value to a moderate with the free dining offer and CSR was the only one available at the time with a...

    Preferred Rooms at Coronado

Hello All, Which buildings are the preferred rooms in at the Coronado Springs Resort? I was also wondering how the food was at Siesta's Cantina and if they take the dining plan (which I got under the free dining plan!) Thanks!

On the phone with them now and they said there is almost 300 people in the holding queue. Got a preferred room at the Coronado!

    Anxiously Waiting for Free Dining

Dates. Dates. Dates please! Also, how quickly do the moderate rooms fill up? I'm feeling like I'm trying to get tickets to a Beatles concert.
