no way We've done Universal several times, and there are a few things that are fun, but no way would I put Universal in the same league as Disney. We live in Fargo ND, and if I could we would go to DW every year, but I sure couldn't do Universal that often.

Anniversary Our 30th anniversary is Oct 14th, so we're spending 2 weeks at my parents winter place in Clearwater. Planning on doing the Wine and Food Festival at Epcot somewhere Oct 12th-Oct 15th. Never been to the W&F fest, looking for some tips.

Scottnj, you're right on the money. For the price of tickets, I agree that all of EPCOT should stay open until closing. The best time for EPCOT is evening.

For us by far it's EPCOT. We're usually some of the last ones out.

At MK it's riding TTA several times. Believe it or not, that's our favorite MK ride. At EPCOT, it's Spaceship Earth first thing in the park and pastry and champaign in France. MGM is the Great Movie Ride.

I agree I thought it was going to be more also. It did look freshened up though, but not much change.

We are going to WDW the week of Sep 22-29. The Disney site just says up to 3 hours extra evening hours. Does anyone know exactly what hours for these nights?

Hey, someone actually read my posts! Anyway, I do get a little tired of the corporate greed in this country, and I'm not going to be a little lemming and just open my wallet. Is this site only for people to bow to Disney, or is it an honest forum? I've gone to WDW many times starting in 1982...

I think the excessive charges for parking not only at WDW, but other parks as weel is the biggest ripoff of all. How a theme park can charge $70.00 for an admission ticket, and then screw you out of $10.00 just to park your car is the height of greed. Don't get me wrong, I love going to WDW, but...

By the way, the picture of me and my wife was taken at EPCOT at the Rose and Crown the first time we went in 1982. We don't look any older now though:) At least I hope we don't!!

That's an interesting question. We've been to WDW about 10 times, and we both love it especially EPCOT. We were at EPCOT the first time in 1982. But I do wish they wouldn't drop so many of the classic attractions like WOM, Horizons, Figment, Kitchen Cabaret to name a few. In some ways, I think...

We'll be there Sept 22-29, got a heck of a deal at the Dolphin. This time around, we're only doing EPCOT and MK 1 day each. We're going to do some serious pool time.

We are going in late Sept, and were thinking of doing MK on the xtra evening hour day. Is the park too crowded those days?

What bugs me the most is having to pay $9.00 for parking. We were just at EPCOT on Friday, and when you spend over $120.00 for 2 - 1 day tickets, $50.00 for lunch for 2 in Mexico (had to each have a marguarita), etc, I think it's outrageous that you have to pay an additional $9.00. If you drive...
