Help me convince my parents to go...

Last year I helped talk my aunt into going to WDW with her son and his family (including his 4 year old daughter). My aunt had that best time. She came back with lots of great stories. Unfortunately, about a month later she found out that she was dying of cancer and she died about a month or...

    Driving from Central Illinois

Another place that we often drive to is Dalton, GA. It is about 10 miles into Georgia. It has a Courtyard, a Hampton and a Country Inn and Suites. It also has many great food places. We like to stay here more than Chattanooga.

Family Feud Disney Question - what's your thought?

How old was this show? Tinkerbelle has really become popular in the last couple of years. Before that you didn't see her stuff outside of Disney to much. Now it is everywhere. That might be why she wasn't on the list.

    Driving from Central Illinois

We are about 1 hour north of you and we have driven this many times. We always take 57 to Rt 24 then to Rt 75. We then take the Florida Turnpike and then RT 4. It is not a bad drive but I wouldn't try to do it in 1 day. I know in Chattanooga there is a Country Inn and Suites and a Hampton...

    Port Orleans Riverside

We have stayed there several times and loved it. The only negative is that the buses sometimes get very full. Be sure to build in some time to see Bob Jackson. He plays the piano and sings in the main building and he is so much fun. I believe that he is there Wed-Sunday night from 8 until...

Port Orleans - Riverside or French Quarter?

Stayed at Riverside many times, and LOVED this place. Walking isn't that big a deal. Food court is good. Bob in the Lounge is AWESOME. Landscape is the best. The only downside is the buses do get croweded at times...FQ just didn't have the same "feel" when we would walk around from time to...

    Outstanding service at Disney

As many have said, there are alot of good service stories, and we have many too. But the one that stands out is on our 10th anniversary we stayed at the Beach Club ( a splurge at the time as we didn't have money to burn). We had requested a king with a view. When we checked in we were told...

What Disney tips do you offer to those who ask?

Check out www.wdwmagic.com, as well as other similar sites. Next, are they thinking of staying on or off property (try to steer towards on site if it is within their budgets). Also, remember to build in downtime so to catch your breath (think Hall of Presidents, Ellens Energy Adventure, Festival...
