Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

The following resorts have discounted standard room/studio availability for tonight (a Saturday in July which would typically be a major check-in day). Unprecedented, to say the least. -All-Star Movies -All-Star Sports -All-Star Music -Animal Kingdom Lodge -Art of Animation -Beach Club...

Is attendance really down at WDW this or…

@lentesta was quoted here. I was wondering what they were seeing at TouringPlans

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

I have no proof of this but I still think there is inventory funny business happening with those parties to create the illusion of demand.

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

Disney needs to do a much better job of understanding what the first time guest experience is like. They realized it was challenging prior to 2020 and then perplexingly made it even more challenging. I tried to explain Genie+ and LL to someone recently and we all started laughing halfway through...

There are several directions they can take it but have to navigate the risk of making a ridiculously complicated system even more complicated.

I have heard this is the plan. Likely not 3 but something to bridge the gap between FP+ and Genie+.

News Walt Disney World to resume sales of Annual Passes (New sales resume April 20, 2023)

The undesirables are the people who spend little to no extra money with Disney other than their AP (bring their own food, for example).

News Walt Disney World to resume sales of Annual Passes (New sales resume April 20, 2023)

My information is a bit light on this side of things, but as far as I understand it, work needed to be done to handle reservations for DVC APs separately as to not impact the pool of reservations for non-DVC APs. Or something along those lines. Now the affiliation is piped into the reservation...

News Walt Disney World to resume sales of Annual Passes (New sales resume April 20, 2023)

Disney is careful with their language because we hold them accountable every single time. If they said forever, we'd hold them to that. There are extenuating circumstances that are highly unlikely to happen that would suspend AP sales across the board and that's what I am told that wording...

News Walt Disney World to resume sales of Annual Passes (New sales resume April 20, 2023)

The plan, internally, is to continue Sorcerer to DVC members for the foreseeable future. The lack of sales had a material impact on DVC sales and selling APs to DVC members doesn't impact attendance (these folks are visiting anyways). However, in an email to DVC members, they stopped short of...

News Walt Disney World to resume sales of Annual Passes (New sales resume April 20, 2023)

The AP price is designed to be a deal, that’s the whole point of the program.

All different services. There’s a bug somewhere, the issues aren’t demand related as evidenced by services crashing again even with a queue.

News Walt Disney World to resume sales of Annual Passes (New sales resume April 20, 2023)

When you consider how many dining reservations or shop Disney purchases or Genie+ reservations are made all simultaneously on their respective services, it’s much easier to see that it’s not a demand issue and a system design issue as @wdwmagic said. There aren’t that many people who are...

    Monorail Support beams needing repair!

It has been patched. And I can assure you it was patched this way to simply obscure the poor aesthetics. The support is structurally sound as it already received epoxy injections (both of them did). Disney may skimp on theming, but these things are still taken very seriously as the results of...

I think any judge worth his or her salt would not agree that the agreement can be deemed a failure by either party before anything has even happened. I do think that if this does stand, they will play this card the moment a single thing goes awry.
