    Update: Escape From Tomorrow

What if the movie were to go Blair Witch and make millions (speaking hypothetically)? Would you all still support Disney staying silent?

Maybe that they are concerned. About their name being associated, about lack of their consent, contrary to everything the parks represent, etc. "It would never happen here" - of course they wouldn't say that.

Don't think it compares - same as Supersize Me.

    Update: Escape From Tomorrow

Focusing in on this paragraph. To me, it is not an issue of painting the company in an non-positive light. I don't think Disney Parks, unlike McDonalds, need to apologize for anything as far as their product goes (in this context - hah). What bothers me is the subject matter brazenly inserted...

    Update: Escape From Tomorrow

I don't agree. I think the fact that the movie is of poor quality is irrelevant. I also think that the film has garnered enough media and national attention already, that it can't just be brushed off like some guy's youtube video. When certain lines are crossed, it is necessary to take a...

    Update: Escape From Tomorrow

Funny how the urge to let things die quietly is always the kneejerk reaction to this subject matter.

    Update: Escape From Tomorrow

I am wondering 2 things: 1) Has there been a public statement from TWDC (i.e. Bob Iger) condemning the subject matter of the film in such direct association with the Disney brand? If not, why not? I would think every parent, sexual abuse victim and victims' advocate would be beating Iger's...

^^^ Yep. If you can get more than 3 FP on days that demand allows it, or if you can get them in multiple parks, and that is taken away, then it is a loss of value and an increase in dissatisfaction. There is no other way to spin it.

Not really trying to refute your point, but I guess I'm in the minimal crowd. In June my family and I rode Star Tours 6 times before 3:00, 3 of which were with Fastpass. That included a Fastpass for TSMM during the same time. Not that we planned that out obsessively or anything, but my kids...

This may be old news, but how about the making of "Escape from Tomorrow" for some real WDW privacy invasion. Check CNN for the video. Sorry, can't post link at the moment.

Right, but I guess what I was saying is that this type of product is based upon the current FP system. Any touring plan that claims to eliminate lines longer than X has to rely on current FP system. If people can't get E ticket FP's, or only 1, or unknown, it kind of renders their product...

So one thing that may not have been discussed, if FP+ will turn out as described, is the death of the touring plan (and the cottage industry that was built around it) as we know it.
