I agree, with Lochie, the main reason Mr. Toad got tossed into the toilet is because of money. But I think Disney underestimates the worth of nostalgia. Look at what Universal earns on E.T., Back to the Future and Jaws merchandise.
Oh yeah, I know that. It would have to really be put in the back of the park, probably behind Fantasyland. But that's not ever going to happen.
I was referring to one of the Paris parks. They've got plenty of options for possible locations.
It would be nice to have a land like the old Mickey's Toontown Fair in Magic Kingdom. That showcases the Sensational Six (Mickey and the gang), with attractions and walkups for the iconic characters. But of course it would have to be a better version of the old Mickey's Toontown Fair. Since that...
I’m interested to see how it differs from Disney World when comes to resorts and shopping areas. If it’s almost the size of Disney World, then there's definitely plenty of room for activities.
I love the new version, I think it is a cool interpretation on Mickey.
Plus it makes Hollywood’s version of Mickey different from the other parks. Which is a very good thing. The parks are getting too similar.
Yeah, I concur. If it could go anywhere else it would be Adventureland. But Animal wins out of the two, because 1. it's definitely Asian and 2. most of the characters are animals.
Unfortunately I don't think they'll ever expand the monorail line. Disney has become a bunch of cheapskates who only want to make money. They don't seem to care about guest experiences anymore.
Jungle Book seems like it only could go in Animal Kingdom. All of the other parks seem like they don’t fit with the movie. Like when they had Lion King in Fantasyland, it just felt weird.
It's amazing how much things breakdown nowadays in Disney World. Pirates has over 100 animatronics in Disneyland and Nav'i has 1 and it's the one that breaks down.
This Fantasyland sounds better than the one in Magic Kingdom. The Florida one doesn't seem to have enough dark rides and big attractions the way this one does... so far.
Plus they got rid classic ones like Mr. Toad and Snow White.
Plus they should probably pick one theme for Grand Flo.
I don't know how it can be themed to Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, Beauty and the Beast, the islands and a 1930's boardwalk. Which have nothing to do with Florida.
