    Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend

Not only have I flown them before ... I have flights scheduled for Spetember (Disney Cruise) and January for the race with them. Smaller airline so it's really no hassle. Mind you its no frills either, but if it gets the job done and costs me less I'm down with it :)

    Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend

Not sure if they are available in your area ... but Frontier Airlines has some great prices. Our tickets to FL (from Trenton, NJ) were only $84 dollars and return were $94. You have to pay $20 bucks for a checked bag, but still, $104 and $114 are a steal now a days. :)

    Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend

In my case, all of the boxes other than the first were blank ... the first box was just the line I put in during registration ... all in one line. What concerns me, is that anyone who put that in at registration and doesn't know about the update link is that it shows as 'no time submitted'. I...

    What did you do?

Foot was feeling better so I pushed it a little harder today ... 4.27 miles. Still not as fast as normal but shaved over half a minute off my p/mile time. Can't wait for things to be back to normal and at 100% ...

    What did you do?

4.04 miles running this morning average pace is still above normal at just under 11 minutes per, but until the foot heals up I can't speed up and beat on it too much :(

    What did you do?

4.06 miles this morning with a slower than normal pace as I nurse my foot ... again. :( I've been putting aside funds for a Garmin Forerunner (been using my iPhone to date) ... hope its just something quirky and easily resolved!

NEW Smoking Settler's Cabin (Formerly Burning) as Seen from Liberty Belle Riverboat

I know we are all looking at this and shaking our head, but as someone who has gone to school for fire beahvior and knows how smoke travels, the should really do something about being able to see 'through' the cabin. If smoke was billowing out a door like that, then the ceiling and 'head' area...

    Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend

The Galloway plan is going good ... usually I never use a plan, I just run, but I've also never raced four days in a row, so I figured it was in my best interest to make sure my body could run day over day over day. When the time comes, my plan is to enjoy the race ... I'm not looking to break...

    Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend

Started Galloway's training on July 1 ... in between now and the Dopey, I have a half marathon in November in Princeton, NJ ... so the early start was a good thing ... pushed me to prep for November :) I'm ready for 6am tomorrow ... spreadsheet itineraries ready to go, hopefully I'll be able...

    What did you do?

Dopey challenge workouts 2 and 3 this past long weekend. On the third, pushed through 4.6 miles at a 9:45 p/mile pace on a super humid day. On the fifth, did some trail work (3.7 miles) in perfect weather ... lots of elevation changes, but went a little slower than normal since I had my little...

    What did you do?

Took a couple weeks off from running ... primarily due to poison ivy issues, but also for a break before the official Dopey training began. Day 1 of 'training' complete ... 4.22 miles at an easy slow pace to work back into things. Good luck to everyone starting Galloway's Dopey Challenge...

    What did you do?

As promised, ran some rolling hills this morning ...3.33 miles at a 9:52 p/mile pace. A bit higher than I wanted, but with running yesterday too, I expected to be a bit slower today.

    What did you do?

Casual day today ... 3.55 miles at a casual pace of 9:42 p/mile. Tomorrow will be a hills day so I didn't want to push it back to back.

    What did you do?

After a freak injury involving a prop falling off the wall and onto my foot at a local restaurant and traveling last week, I finally got back on the wagon again. 3.15 miles with a pace of 9:31 p/mile ... I'll take it after being out of service for a couple weeks. :D

The Middle Season Finale - My Nightmares?

I'm watching it ... it's actually a bit depressing. Nothing is going right the first day ... then they end up in a Suite and accidentally sleep in late and then fight in the Magic Kingdom. I usually love this show and I love WDW ... but my gosh. Besides the fact that the show is depressing...

    What did you do?

    What did you do?

After tweaking my back last Thursday while cleaning up the basement from the 'flooding' rain ... finally felt good enough to run at a casual pace. 3.5 miles at a 9:42 pace this morning ... didn't want to push it considering I could finally turn side to side ;)
