News Bongo's at Disney Springs closing later this year

Wow genuinely shocked at the rhetoric here.

I LOVE Bongos. Always had great service and the food was really good IMO. I'm bummed about this.

The Bongos in Hollywood, FL (Hard Rock casino) is good and service is fine. We would never go to the one at DS because we can get it at home (and Earl of Sandwich on the Turnpike lol.)

Plus there are 20 LaCareta's, plus places like Mario's Catalina. All with better food than Bongo's.

FYI - Meant that in that those people couldn't care less about customer service and they obviously weren't trained as well as those skating smoking moneys in the old videos seen at Sci-Fi Dine-In! So sad to see the original concept crash & burn as it did.

Would love a good Comedy Club. The old PI club was fun though it did get a bit stale. Miss going out for a few laughs while down there.

There has to be enough local talent to supply weekday shows with open mic night and maybe sketch comedy group nights capped off with national headliners for the weekend. Could work for sure

Haven't been over to the new Margaritaville resort yet, is there an area like Disney Springs there?

There's going to be. But even without it, I had family stay there this past week and they raved about the place.

Never dined at Bongos, 20+ years of visiting WDW, so I can't say anything about food or service.

I just hope it's not another Italian food restaurant, I love Italian food, but enough already!

I think that'd be a horrible option for DS. The experience is unique but nothing that has a two hour turnover on tables is going to survive the rent there and given their menu prices in normal locations, I'd hate to see what they'd have to charge in an effort to make it work, here!

If you're looking for that while down, there is one not too far away, though.
