Transformative Multi-Year Expansion Announced for WDS Paris

Are they allowed to do “old-fashioned fireworks” in Paris? I thought there was some kind of law or regulation prohibiting aerial fireworks except for Bastille Day and New Years or something.
They still have them nightly in DLP but they have decreased the number of fireworks over the years, I don’t know if it’s governmental, environmental, financial, or a combination of reasons but Disney seems to be using fewer and fewer fireworks every year.

That seems to be true in the US parks also, more reliance on projections, lasers, spotlights, and props and fewer fireworks.

ETA by old fashioned I don’t mean shells launched into the air, I’m including the fans and ground launched fireworks also. I simply love fireworks in all their forms.

I think there might be a curfew on them? @marni1971 might know. (Apologies @marni1971 if you’ve already answered this before).

DLP is bound by a local regulation - I can’t say for sure but to do with the council, mayor or similar. They are only permitted to do the “big” shows on specific dates through the year with prior approval.

MK and Epcot stand out as having the best fireworks shows of any Disney park. Massive amounts of pyro. Literally blows everything else out of the water.

Remember dreams at DL is still my favorite Disney fireworks show of all time, Mickeys mix magic isn’t even in the same league though.

I agree the MK shows are more consistently good shows though. EP seems kind of hit or miss.

Ten minutes after park opening. Unheard of wait times 🤣

We're all hyped and curious to see it. But you couldn't pay me enough to go there day one.

For one, long waits for everything. And, more importantly, you waste your first impression - you only ever get one - you waste it on stress, crowds, unable to move.

I'll save my first time for once the throngs have subsided. Then I can saunter about, backtrack, check out at leisure sights that catch my attention. And just be at peace in my mind and with my surroundings, free in my thoughts.

I have a DLP day planned next month. For the castle park, secretly hoping everybody will still be next door....

Maybe the plot of the theater could be used for Avengers Infinity Defense.

But it's nice to know that there is room fo
They could technically fit 4 lands around the lake if they move the substation

Removing theatre of the stars gives you a plot between pride lands and marvel, there is a plot between pride lands and arendelle, another between arendelle and cars and one for cars itself
r up to 4 more minilands removing the lame Cars ride.
