I’m not fussy, just give me Marie! 😉
There was a period of time when Marie was my daughter's favorite Disney character. She's always loved cats and watched that movie a lot. Luckily for us, Marie was around the parks a fair amount at that time.

I know it's "Pixar Place" but an AristoCats ride or thing would make for a nice extension of Remy's Paris
I wonder if they could do an elevated version of Mr Toad's Wild Ride based around The Aristocats?

One thing that stands out from the film that could support a ride are the sequences with Edgar tearing around the countryside. I'm sure you could build from that to have a fun all-age dark ride zipping around and ending with everyone safe and sound back in Paris.

Another relatively cheap to implement and much needed expansion!

A deleted scene from the movie involved a chase in the Paris sewers, more material for a potential ride

The more we talk about it, the more of a good choice it seems. While not an especially "hot" IP, the film was huge in France and would move a lot of merchandise. Something along the lines of a Fantasyland dark ride would also round out the park's offerings very nicely; at present they seem to either build headliners or flat rides.

That’s a pet peeve of mine. Although my Fantasyland master plan hasn’t much room for a bus bar ride !

Especially if they somehow put a rocking or swinging effect in the car to mimic the "walk like a goose" waddle!

Do we expect the third land around the lake to be announced at D23 this year?

By D23 2028 you'd think it would be well into construction

I also keep pushing the idea of Avengers: Infinity Force coming here because the Campus is lacking a true E-ticket. Flight Force on paper sounds like one, but in person it still falls short of the potential for these characters. That and what's left of the sunt show area does not look good and should be replaced with something that's open year-round.

I think it's very unlikely. Assuming Lion King opens in 2028 (which is optimistic) the next land expansion may be at a similar state to Lion King is now, so a hole in the ground. Assuming the third land follow Lion King as opposed to an alternative expansion like Avengers or Disneyland Park.

Announcements for DLP don’t necessarily happen at D23, they often confirm them in Spring.

But I think it’s too early for this year. Lion King was only confirmed in 2024 (and I think that actually was at D23). I don’t think construction would start on the new land until LK is a year or so from opening. Maybe next year for an announcement?

Could of course be wrong and they surprise us.

I too think it's rather unlikely to hear about the third lake land this year, however, thinking of timelines it's not impossible. Let's assume that by some miracle Lion King is ready to open in the second half of 2028, that land was announced two years before DAW and Frozen opened up. This year would be 2 years before TLK opens.
