Decline? Quite the opposite.I have similar thoughts about DLP. It’s always sad to see decline
The amount of large scale refurbs in the past decade is unprecedented and they’re still going.

When I think Universal Studios I don't think of nighttime spectaculars... does any Universal Park have a regular night time show? Even in Orlando their parks often close before dark during a decent part of the year.Something that DLP will have in its favour is that at DLP, they can use fireworks every night (even if limited because of neighbours). Universal UK is only allowed to have fireworks on specific dates (Bonfire Night, New Year etc.) so will have to come up with something different if they're doing a nighttime spectacular.
I had built Disneyland Paris up to be so spectacular that I was pretty sure I would be disappointed- quite the opposite. It far exceeded my expectations. It’s always a shame when you go somewhere and don’t like it but you have to celebrate making the trip which a lot of people wouldn’t do.
Is it Vincent Price?Paris Disney gives us the best intangibles
That voice!——that perfectly haunting and macabre spiel to restart a stopped Phantom Manor.
Nothing, I mean absolutely nothing in the 12 Disney parks’ recorded announcements comes anywhere close to Phantom Manor’s English delivery of: “Good news…………”
Phantom stopped 6 or 7 times over 3 rides my last trip in June and just before it restarted we got this French spiel and then comes the (presumably equivalent) English one. It’s a total creep out to go with one of Disney’s top 10 best attractions anywhere.
Yes.Is it Vincent Price?
Still has no narration ! Very odd when you’re used to itI’d love to ride with the Vincent Price narration, when I went the stretch room was in French and the ride didn’t have a narration. I think Vincent Price’s laugh was used in the wild west scene though

Yes. Annoyingly it’s not run during non HHN.Cinescape is pretty much nightly except in the fall (horror nights) and early spring (Mardi Gras, night parade instead) at USF.
Where is this documented/quoted? Would like to read more on it - in general firework laws here are much looser than the US and France, and are legal to use 365 days a year until midnight. I guess this is part of their planning permit, but I've not read anything on it in the widely available material.Something that DLP will have in its favour is that at DLP, they can use fireworks every night (even if limited because of neighbours). I don't have a copy of the plans myself but this article covers it https://thatparkplace.com/universal...will-limit-fireworks-may-explore-drone-shows/Where is this documented/quoted? Disappointing read, they're suggesting 1.4g (hazard type 4), which is the lower end of consumer fireworks; where 1.3g are higher end consumer fireworks and display shells with higher flash powder content. I guess the only place I'm seeing a good show remains MK or EpcotI don't have a copy of the plans myself but this article covers it https://thatparkplace.com/universal...will-limit-fireworks-may-explore-drone-shows/
You will still see a “good show” in Paris.Disappointing read, they're suggesting 1.4g (hazard type 4), which is the lower end of consumer fireworks; where 1.3g are higher end consumer fireworks and display shells with higher flash powder content. Good luck "seeing" a good show at Epcot. Never liked the smoke display on the lagoon.Disappointing read, they're suggesting 1.4g (hazard type 4), which is the lower end of consumer fireworks; where 1.3g are higher end consumer fireworks and display shells with higher flash powder content. These rules have been around for decades. Same type for Hong Kong too.
Eh, that's your opinionEh, it's not that bad.
Show as in show. You prefer a fireworks display by the sounds of it. Which yes, Orlando triumphs at.Depends how you define good show. I'm a pyro aficionado; Paris doesn't come close for me.
