I am really disappointed in what we used to call Future World that is now World Celebration.

About 5 years of walls to end up with what we got is really disappointing to me.

The forever broken in ground lighting after enjoying decades of the great in ground fiber optics of the past adds insult to injury.

I am not as down on it as I think it is a really cool area to just chill out - lots of tables and seating, etc. If I was local I could definitely see heading to do some work on a regular basis.

That said, it isn't as great as it could be and not as awe inspiring as the initial concept art was.

Obviously Covid played a huge role in the timeline but can understand feeling like what the end result is, even if not bad in a vacuum, wasn't with it

That’s what they should’ve done throughout the new hub instead of the terrible lights they put in.

Its gonna take a long time for me to get over this. Posting helps me cope. I still have not gotten over losing the Osborne lights.

Maybe if they replaced the stuff they destroy with something better, it would make me forget what I lost but when they destroy something with something worse, like World Celebration, it only make the loss hurt more.

Universal destroyed areas for Harry Potter, WOW is Harry Potter is GREAT! And I am not a fan of Harry Potter. I do not think about what was destroyed for Harry Potter.

Universal destroyed Disaster and a stage show for....... SCREEN BASED F&F !!!!! HUGE LOSS and I am a F&F fan. And I miss that Disaster attraction!!

Sure it had some issues of dead spots but it still work.

They could even bring back the squares as they did look good in the plaza walkways..

Honestly, I don't think they will be giving up on maintaining the Bioluminecense walkways out at Pandora down the way..How are those looking lately?

They got repainted this past spring. They have to keep it up because there’s park/pandora buyouts that happen multiple times a week after closing.

Man I miss those fiber optic lights.
Why oh why did they not try to add something similar to the walkaways in the ‘new Epcot’…??

Such a shame…it was always fun to just stop and watch people walk over these as they exited the Park and then suddenly notice them under their feet.
Children as well…they would be so surprised and delighted.

Of course, this was in the days before everyone’s nose including children were starting at a tiny screen as they walked.

But still….

Fiber optic effects rock.
It seems a given this should have been utilized with the new area.

I honestly like the area other than 1. The middle planter needs to become a fountain and 2. the lights need to work. my 3 would be I actually like the outside of CommunicoreHall but the inside needs a permanent display that improves the space
