While technically true…. El Rio did have a large moving carousel at the location with the marionette style dolls.
For me personally - the carousel was just as impressive as the 3 AA’s.

I think the difference is those other examples are reboots. The character design is different, their personalities are different, the reboot is a new take on the original, not a continuation of the original. So much is different that the voices don’t stick out as much.
With the muppets, there wasn’t a reboot. These are still supposed to be the same characters that they were 50 years ago, not new takes on the originals. The sound is the only thing that’s noticeably different, so it’s more jarring.

The problem with recasting the Muppets is that you need a good puppeteer, not just a voice actor. That narrows the playing field significantly.
It’s much easier to find someone who sounds like Bugs Bunny than it is to find someone who sounds like Kermit the Frog AND can professionally puppeteer every day for weeks of a production. If they have to sacrifice one of these, I’d rather the voice be a little off.

And then some major scandal happens and this whole cycle repeats. Much smarter to use the muppets especially if they “team up” with other artists that can be easily switched in and out

The Jetsons movie where Tiffany did Judy wasn't a reboot. The original plan was for Janet Waldo to voice Judy again, but studio executives forced them to replace her with Tiffany because they thought it would sell more tickets.
And in a lot of these "reboots", there's still other characters who still sound like themselves. Donald was the only main character in DuckTales who still sounded like himself because they got Tony Anselmo back (and even then they did episodes where some sort of device was used to give him Don Cheadle's voice). George, Jane, Astro, etc. all still sounded like themselves in The Jetsons Movie. And even if the character designs are slightly different, they generally aren't so different that it feels like an entirely new character, so in my opinion the voices still stand out. Plus, most Muppets productions have their own continuity anyway, so you can still make the claim that they're not supposed to be the same characters per say.
The fact remains, even if not every project featuring Scrooge was in the same continuity as DuckTales, he still had a consistent voice for years since then. We know what Scrooge McDuck sounds like and it's not David Tennant's not even close to Alan Young take.
It's a good thing, then, that a lot of the current puppeteers are good at doing the voices too. Like, I get the complaints about Matt's Kermit, but Bill Barretta is spot-on as Rowlf and Dr. Teeth.
Even then, Bugs has sounded off before. Billy West is awesome but his Bugs was pretty bad (he's a great Elmer Fudd, though).
That was my concern with Cosmic Rewind from go but then I remembered that it's so sparsely themed that if something should happen it could be rethemed to a different IP with relative ease.
