I talked to someone on the phone and he said they were postponing the B&B launch. Did not give a time or date. He said check back around 1pm which has been a time in the past after a crash.

I saw someone else post that the person they spoke to said it would be later today that B&B is loaded but didn't know when

I feel like whenever they have a new offering like this, especially when it is low capacity so people will be spamming the site right at opening, they should plan for it to load/go live at a time sperate from the rest of ADR booking - so like noon instead of 6am or something

Yeah, it's pretty gross. Especially in WI where the drinking culture is associated with literally every aspect of life here. Guess ya gotta start 'em young.
Im all for parents getting to enjoy themselves but im shocked by this too(although at Disney im fine with it)...We also frequent the local breweries around us in MA and its crazy to me the kids just running around like its a playground. Last week we went to a new one and a baby was in one of those walker things just cruising around the entire bar banging into chairs and tables. lol
What kind of sketchy places are people going that they think its somehow odd/gross that parents have their kids with them in a public place that generally serves food and drinks? I mean if you want to be at an adult only area, go to an all inclusive adults only location.

I mean is there fundamentally any difference between a TGI Fridays, a local Pub, and a Brewery? They serve drinks, both alcoholic and not. They serve food of various types. They will generally have TVs or live music. Where does the shock come from that parents would have their kids with them to enjoy these places?

I mean a couple weeks ago we literally took an entire baseball team of kids after a game and everyone had a blast. No real difference from going to any other type of restaurant except i couldn't get michelob ultra.

Side not if your in MASS try Start Line Brewery in Hopkinton, that is the place i mentioned above and is a a fun time.

I have no problem with kids being there....We bring our 13 yr old all the time...its this part that drives me crazy "its crazy to me the kids just running around like its a playground"

Hopkinton is too far away from us or i'd have to try it. We are on the South Shore.

Definitely whatever the setting - a brewery, a Fridays, Cosmic Ray's, whatever - kids should not be running around like it is a playground and should not be negatively impacting other guests

Ah, that can be an issue, but i don't really link that to adults brining kids to a brewery. That can be annoying even if the kids are running around crazy unsupervised and the place IS a playground.

I grew up on the South Coast myself, if Hopkinton is too far, i would also recommend Buzzards Bay in Westport.

Of course there is...the customers and what they are there for. Nobody is going to Fridays to get stinky
One serves food and drinks. The second serves food and drinks, and the third place... serves food and drinks.

And to echo Max, what kind of places are you going to? Have you neve been to a Friday's at happy hour on a Friday. The people getting hammered there far exceed any of the times i have been to a Brewery

Not too far so i'll have to look into it...I've had their beer over at the pasta house when that was there in Fairhaven.

If you think there are as many drunks at Fridays as there are at your local watering holes, you need to tell me where you live so I can avoid it..I never mentioned a Brewery....you brought up local bars..yes they have food, but also a lot more people there to not eat food than any Fridays near here

So uh, do we think Beak and Barrel reservations will still go live today? Saw one report on X where a CM mentioned in the live chat that the last communication they received said it’s been pushed until tomorrow.

The whole track/line started with the mention of breweries, which is why i mentioned it.

As to local bars, honestly I really don't see many strict bars around me anymore. Not like in the sense of all they serve is drinks, no food, and would have a 21+ policy.

If you were talking about a local bar, then I am with you - I wouldn't bring kids there. But I saw the discussion as around the Beak and Barrel and comparing it to craft breweries and the like (places that serve alcohol but are welcoming of families/kid) ... all the craft breweries near me are way nicer than a Fridays
