DAK 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

Seeing as the crane is in the background, is it possible that the Encanto show building could be going up vertical in the coming weeks? Or is the crane for the retaining wall the is being demolish and replaced?

Going off the last posted aerials, it is the one that was installing the sheet piles. They need to pour some concrete first before they can do vertical construction.

Forgot to post this last month..

Got to ride Dinosaur x4 times in a row on July 18th.
Every effect was working perfectly on the ride except the chasing 2nd carnotaurus AA. It was in B-mode, placed stationary near the ride-vehicles path, but its head was still moving. Every other AA was working.

Very glad to see the ride is still being maintained well and almost pretty much the same condition when I was last there this past March.

At the gift shop, almost all the new Dinosaur merch was gone. I really wanted the pin, but according to CMs it was sold out a couple days before my visit.. :(
Only the magnet and water bottle was remaining. They did say the shirt and hat will be restocked...in fact that looks to be true as of a couple days ago!

Thus, I got the magnet because I wanted at least something to commemorate one of my all-time favorite rides at WDW..

Gonna try to have one more visit next month before my AP expires. Then it will be time to have my final goodbyes to my beloved Dinosaur ride..

I was there 9 days before you and the climax Carnotaurus was standing way too far upright. Was it still like that for you?

Nobody has ever said that. If Antonio has been mentioned, it's because his connection to animals is the hook they're using to connect it to the land and why it's in AK. It's always been a loose connection, but a connection none-the-lesss and Encanto fits better in a Tropical Americas land than the edge of Frontierland. Unfortunately, since it was announced you haven't thought Encanto should get a ride, so have repeatedly shown your dis-interest and I don't think any reason will justify the attraction's existence for you
To be fair, the only interior official concept art they've released make it pretty clear which part of the film the ride may be choosing to highlight. ;)

"Sluggish Summer"? Land prep and infrastructure work always looks "slow". Next steel will go up an people will talk about how fast the project is now moving, then it will get to interior and detail work and people will complain about how slow the project is going.
Probably just optics.

It feels that way without vertical construction yet. The progress in Muppets Courtyard feels faster - although that might slow now.

Obviously two very different projects.

armchair quarterbacks... or construction project managers. Anyone can be an "expert" on the internet.

What’s funny is that they fully admit they are aware of that fact in the article:

Guess they just needed the clickbait title for the views.

That was the complaint. People just go based on what they can recognize as changing. So we get the same cycle over and over about work “slowing” and “speeding up,” when neither has actually happened.

I think we need a moratorium on discussing what the theme of DAK is and which movies do or do not fit the park
After they added Pandora and almost did a Zootopia/ Moana land (still curious what that connecting theme for that was supposed to be??) they can seemingly justify anything coming to DAK. Yet somehow continue to dismiss adding a Jungle Book attraction to Asia!
