My point is the design was probably approved by GM.Sponsors don’t pay the entire cost of an attraction.

For 2.0 most of the design work was done by GM themselves. It wouldn't surprise me if this marquee wasn't even designed by WDI, just approved by them.My point is the design was probably approved by GM.
Coca-ColaI know Mary sits on the board but is GM the longest sponsor at WDW?
For a single exhibit GM definitely takes the cake, they signed on for EPCOT in 1978. Coke didn't have a WDW exclusivity contract until after then I'm pretty sure. Their sponsorship of single attractions has bounced around a lot too, I don't think they have any true attractions now other than Club Cool? Last one would've been American Adventure or TGMR, right?I know Mary sits on the board but is GM the longest sponsor at WDW?
Probably, obviously the longest and last one standing at EPCOT.I know Mary sits on the board but is GM the longest sponsor at WDW?
Test Track 2.0 died for your Sims. And on the third Quarter, rose from the tread.

Maybe some actual landscaping (like low-level shrubbery or flowers) would break up the inherent dullness of the plain white monolith dominating the bottom half of the sign...

I realize we're not far from re-opening but it still irks me that while the new sign says presented by GM, the temporary sign still says Chevrolet (a brand of GM). I know. No point in changing it now.A lot of people are saying it feels like an old Epcot sign, but it’s 40 years later and we have a large ship on a pedestal outside of Guardians, which actually makes this change feel a bit too subtle. Unless…

Any chance those cars stay parked outside after the wall comes down? It looks ever so slightly badass and I bet it frames the sign really well.
Ew. No. It gives off fast and furious supercharged vibes.A lot of people are saying it feels like an old Epcot sign, but it’s 40 years later and we have a large ship on a pedestal outside of Guardians, which actually makes this change feel a bit too subtle. Unless…
