You know who'd really benefit from a 4-6 month refurbishment? Frozen Ever After. Just swap out the projected faces for physical faces and that's the most of what they'd need to do.

That would definitely help, although I think that ride needs significantly more work than just replacing the projected faces.

So...they are giving simulated movement to the targets and allowing players to pick up their guns, like Disneyland has had for decades. Seems like we are scraping the bottom of the barrel in regards to "improved gameplay." I'd just like to see better show scenes and figures. How has Disney not created anything that is more fun than MIB Alien Attack in the 25 years that attraction has been around?

Based on some observation from posts on here the Disneyland version is not looking too hot.

So any updates are welcome in my opinion especially here at the MK.

I get that. But I’ve also noticed a DRASTIC decrease in its popularity over the last decade. Like almost nothing like I’ve seen with any other ride. I remember when it used to be the longest wait in the park. Now it’s typically around the same average wait as the Peoplemover.
So they are fixing the dated features to make it more popular

You don’t think they have any plans to add them here ?
I very seriously doubt it. It's a change that doesn't cost a whole lot, and they changed Disneyland's version in 2008. I think if they were going to, they'd have done it by now.

It also seems to me like Disney is more willing to change the version in DL moreso than the WDW version. Maybe because it got moved and modified from the World's Fair and changed, whereas the MK version was an opening day attraction? IDK, but it seems like Imagineers are attached to that version.

Also, if you feel like trolling a bunch of Californians, go into the DL section and tell them that you LOVE the idea of the characters in IASW and would like to come to DL just for that...:angelic:

They came very close to being added a few years ago.

Like a few other projects that have happened in the last couple years and are happening now… it’s not dead.

I don’t think it ever went down for refurbishment.

They were filed and nothing has come of it yet.

Haunted Mansion has permits out as well so we might see something new there as well even though that ride is the golden child of the MK and seen plenty of updates over the years.
Pan just received a new scene last August, I wouldn't expect anything more there for awhile, it did close for a short time.
