It's truly horrible. What I am not looking forward to is the next evolution of the internet... we're already noticeably beyond a stage where the hive mind of the internet could do amazing things utilizing the 'new' tools at hand. Noticeably in the past 5 years or so, that hive mind has gotten dull and useless and information/thought that was readily available is decreasingly so. I blame not necessarily AI but social media as it has rotted the usefulness of the internet. The years of wonder and awe at being connected to the world in ways we couldn't imagine have surpaassed people using that power and in turn are now just social media rot.
1. Reboots? What reboots? Star Wars and Indiana Jones were revived. But there have been no reboots. 2. According to my research universal has made about 35 prequels and sequels in the last 15 years. Warner bros Has made about 40. Disneys made 34 not counting DCOMs so they are not making more then their 2 biggest competitors.
All those available seats and you choose the very side seats make me wonder if your there not to watch the movie I'll let you fill in the rest

I still think Disney has a Burbank bubble problem, they are surrounded by like minded people so they think thats how everyone thinks. The echo chamber needs more dissenting voices to say “that’s not going to go over well in middle America”, or “that’s not going to work with the Asian market”, without those voices the movies they make appeal to a far smaller audience than they need to to be profitable.

There are distincly two types of seats being selected for this film... the ones in the middle, who are there to watch it... and the ones on the edges and rear... they are not there to watch it.
Are you suggesting that Disney is buying tickets for nonexistent customers?
I always aim for the middle, but I also recognise that my approach is not universal.
Yes, that dud was his, as were all the Marvel hits prior to 2019 when he was forced out, there’s been a distinct shift at Marvel since 2019 and it hasn’t worked out very well for them at the box office, people hated the guy but the reality is they need an old grump in the room to point out “that’s not going to work with half the world” or they risk half the world not showing up.
I take seats at the edge also, but mainly because I don’t like people. The aisle seat guarantees me at least one free side and if the theaters empty it’s no big deal to move towards the center.
Perlmutter lost his control over Marvel Studios in 2015, not 2019. He merely retained control of Marvel’s TV and media division until 2019.
Perlmutter was a small, odious, vindictive person who was rightfully sidelined and ignored by the people building the MCU - that’s why he was so angry at Feige. He had next to nothing to do with the successful run of films.
That wasn’t the point I was making, but yes, neither has done at all well.This movie bombed even worse than Snow White.
