@Figgy1 -- Did you happen to watch the U. S. Nationals Figure Skating Championships, over the weekend?

We have a strong U. S. (Women's) Figure Skating Team, as they head on to the World Championships this March. Our favorite, Isabeau Levito (N. J.), had an ankle injury and didn't compete in the U. S. Nationals, this past weekend. However, she still maintains her place at the Worlds, with the talented, Amber Glenn (from Plano, TX) and Alysa Liu (I think from CA).

As for the Men's competition, we have the best in the world with Ilia Malinin -- an exceptional athlete. Been following him for a few years, and IMO, he has even exceeded Nathan Chen, U. S. Olympic Gold medalist in the 2022 Olympics. Joining him at the Worlds are (in 2nd place), Andrew Torgashev, followed by Camden Pulkinen. All are great, but Ilia is a superstar.

In the Dance competition, no surprise that Chock and Bates came in first again! (It's their sixth win!) They're creative and practically flawless. In second place, was Carreira and Ponomoparenko, with Green and Parsons in third place.

I recorded the Pairs skaters, but I haven't watched that part of the competition yet.
