Glad you made it home safely. As for the plows' conga line, I always like those -- when you ride behind them, you have a clear road, versus all the cars that come up 1/2 hour later, on those same stretches. My state (and Maine) do 2-3 plows on the interstates.We had 6” dump up North and all through the GTA. Had a brutal drive home, but we made it … only to find maybe only 2-3” here.
The ground is white, and there’s enough to require shovelling, so yeah, it’s a white Christmas for us too.
We were stuck in multiple conga lines of snow plows. They ride two across (or three or four, depending on how many lanes the highway is, and sometimes two deep. It is illegal to pass them (if it were even possible), and they travel between 40-45 km/h.
It made for a very slow drive home.
