so reports are slowly filtering in that Harry Potter & The Forbidden Journey is....The Simpsons ride with bangs and whistles :brick: it also does NOT go upside down, however from what I'm hearing the main factor is motion sickness, rather than "intense thrills" as a major Potter fan I pray...

I remember on an epidose of Mugglecast (Mugglenet is a very big harry potter site) in which they where given a preview of WWoHP, that the show building will be painted a color to better blend in with the castle, and also additional landscaping will be used as well to further hide the show...

While im not doubting your sources, Universal itself has Potter themed packages that start on the 25th of May, and include admsision to the park and a breakfast at Three Broomsticks; my question is why would June 18th be the date, if the offical vacation packages for WWoHP begin in late May?

I actually spoke to a manager @ the CBR gift shop, she said MOST resort specific merch was being discont. BUT that SELECT resorts will continue to carry it, my guess was the deluxe resorts will most likely bethe ones to keep the resort-specific merch.

I would mainly like to see the new AA dragon, which I hear will be appearing on Aug. 16 in DL. And the Peter Pan segement, or something else besides the Poch. scene it just seems very random.

I know what you mean about filming wise, it would be difficult, although the majority of the first book takes place while the park is closed so that shouldnt be too hard, but there are some day and eve scenes that are key plot points. Im suprised it hasnt been made into a film series yet seeing...

I agree with you to an extent, but being one of the NextGen Disney fans I dont think it's blasphmey to refresh things in the parks for newer generations, although it's an unpopular opinion to think so.
