    Swan and Dolphin

ajrwdwgirl is correct. You cannot charge to your room & no magical express. Other than that - you can walk directly into Epcot & if you're lucky enough to get a room with a park view - watch Illuminations every night from the air-conditioned comfort of your room!

    LOL!!!! Very true!

Love Disney!!!! but sometimes this gets me so mad.......

My big peeve is people who think they can smoke anywhere they want in the parks. I am a smoker & I seek out the smoking allowed sections, because I think it's rude if you don't. I have no problem telling the offenders to "snuff it out" when I see them and make sure everyone around knows what...

    French Quarter or AKL???

Agreed. Save the $500 and stay at POFQ

    RESORT???

I like the Wilderness Lodge much more than AKL. Of the moderates - I have stayed at CB & did not like it one bit. Port Orleans (Riverside or French Quarter) are much more enjoyable, have better bus service and seem to be just more pleasant! Enjoy your trip!

Going to Disney World Alone (Sort of)

    1. What do I do while she is working? Where do I go? - Anywhere you want! Do anything you like. Ride the monorail and check out all of the resort hotels. Go to the parks and people-watch. Go to the pool or take resort launches to check out the various resorts (the ones not on the monorail...

California girl's first trip to Disney World and Florida...

For Discovery Cove & the beach - I would use a cab. The driver will give you his/her number and when your ready to leave, just call and the car will be waiting for you. Not very expensive, but very convenient. Sea-World is a lot more fun than Kennedy Space Center (IMHO).

    Solo Dining

I have gone solo and personally, I like Biergarden and Tappan Edo because you are seated with others. I also did Victoria & Albert's solo and it was spectacular!!!!. Eat where you like and don't put so much thought into feeling weird/uncomfortable being on your own. Bring park maps, books...

    Disney Buffets!

I'm not a big buffet fan, but the endless skillets at Whispering Canyon Café in WL is awesome, for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Nice part is they bring you a huge skillet filled with all of the offerings and then will bring you as much as you like of any and all of the items on it. Also have...

hoop dee doo or mickeys backyard?

If possible, do both. If you're going with small kids, the Backyard BBQ is better for them. If you will be there will older kids/adults - Hoop De Doo is the one to go to. Both are quite cheesy, but so much fun!
