If I'm not mistaken, I believe that is where the doves used to be housed when they were used during Cinderella's Surprise Celebration. It's hard to tell from the angle, but that's what it looks like to me. Maybe another CM can confirm or deny that.
I voted no because once the guests enter the parks, everyone is equal. Nobody cares if you spent $10,000 on your hotel room. You spent X amount of money to get into the parks just the same as the person next to you. Why should you get to go in front of me because you spent more money on the...
Seeing episodes of the the Mickey Mouse Club being taped at DHS. In 1992 I saw MMC Rocks the Planet being taped and in 1994 I saw three episodes being filmed. Those have to be some of the best memories from the 90's.
We always drive (regardless if it's from home or from the airport) so I insist on taking Rt. 535 because I love turning onto Hotel Plaza Blvd. and driving by DtD. That is when I truly feel that I'm 'home'.
That is what I thought...maybe just to have people keep in mind that some (well, maybe a little) film/tv production still does go on there today. Soundstage 1 used to be the set for the 90's version of the Mickey Mouse Club. I have wonderful memories of seeing the show being taped there.
I totally agree! I bought myself a tiara before eating at CRT last winter with my boyfriend and I loved it! It was fun to wear it and I didn't care what anybody thought. I'm planning on wearing it next month when I'm there. I'm 28 years old but when I'm at WDW I'm a kid and I get to be a...
I've taken the train several times and it's actually a really fun experience! I would rent from Hertz and then just follow the signs to I-4.
Bring things to do with you because it is a long ride, but it is fun! :)
Trust me, Disney maintained the rights to the animation in all of the stores, that is why they were all destroyed. Even though we were owned by TCP for a while, Disney had a strong hand in what was going on as far as the stores. Most everyday guests never even noticed (at least at my store)...
The memories of going on the Backstage Tour like 10 times in a row hoping to catch a glimpse of the Mickey Mouse Club members practicing. I swear, I went on that at least 10 times in one day...it got to the point that I had part of the Lottery Ticket short memorized!
I am glad to see that...
I don't know the official reason why, but I know they wont' do it for sure. My thinking is to try to stay out of the whole 'touching' problem, plus in FL, there's a good chance that the marker may go right though the sweaty shirt and onto the person's skin. Just 2 thoughts though... :)
I don't believe they are around anymore. I think that was just for the one celebration...and I can't remember for the of me what it was called at this time...darn! I'm sure somebody else can tell you which celebration it was. Sorry!
Well...the hospital may give her a note explaining her medical condition, but it's not a free pass to the front of the line. It's called a Guest Assistance Card but it's meant to help assist the guest, not allow them to skip the entire line in most cases.
The last several years that I've...
