Sounds appealing if the "crowds" don't come in until the weekend.

Have mostly done Summer month trips to Disney. The Father In Law is dead set on the family taking a Thanksgiving week trip. Probably looking at arriving Sunday and leaving day after Thanksgiving. Probably staying at either Beach Club or Boardwalk.

Isn't it technically the same building?

Love staying in the Boardwalk Area. Was looking at booking Swan Dolphin over Boardwalk. Appears to be around $4-500 cheaper booking through Costco Travel vs through Disney. Is there something that's not included with the Costco package that is with Disney? What am I missing?

Had them in the late 80's too if I'm not mistaken.

fast pass, Disney Vacation Club

We had a Villa on the pool side. Seemed very quiet at night from what I can remember. If I'm not mistaken, you can see the Magic Kingdom fireworks at night in the distance but they are a long way off.

The last time I was on Tom Sawyer Island...... how many years has it been? We got to ride the canoes around the river(s) and the cabin was still burning. Been to Disney many times since then, but that's the last time that I can recall actually going to the island.

I liked it better when there was no Fast Pass of any kind. You walked in, went to a ride, and stood in line.

So the Beach Club is closer to Epcot than the Yacht Club by what, 300 feet?
