Have you thought about the Beach Club... kids might like that pool area,,sand and a priate ship slide.. and like the Swan/Dolphin you have the boat rides and walking distance..

The skyliner is the problem,, those hotels are going to be the noisy ones.. i would suggest Port Orleans Riverside,,no skyliner but it does have a nice boat ride to Disney Springs....

what are his intrests?? but without knowing that i would say Hollywood,, Slinky ride, toy story mania,muppets, mickey minnie wild ride,star wars...

some days at the parks are scary enough

may not be the answer your looking for but i always thought that a dinner reservation only nighttime haunted mansion restaurant would be cool and always busy.. dark spooky atmosphere,cobwebs, waiters/watiress ghost hosts.. food and drinks designed in spooky fashion and names,,

3 hoursto 15!!! glad you got there,,, last time i had a 3 hour trip the weather started getting rough and our tiny ship was tossed, if it wasnt for the courage of our fearless crew i think our minnow would be lost

Love POR,, make sure you take the beautiful relaxing boat to Disney Springs,, and its a nice walk to the French Quarters for some yummy beignets... going with kids the pool is nice but if your all older and would like a more quiet pool there is that too..
