Capacity Phase Closing Watch - Easter 2016

I will be there Next Monday through Friday, do I need to be worried about this? I was there for Spring Break a couple of times in the past, and while busy I don't think it was ever near capacity?

How is WDW not what it used to be?

Disney to me is still a magical place, but it is different than it was as few years. I admit that too. Yes the price is higher than we like, so we can't go as often. I don't think this would bother me as much, if I couldn't book a Universal trip for quite a bit less. I know its 2 parks not 1...

Quality Inn the Royale Parc Suites???

Stayed there a few years ago, it was being remodeled at the time. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms, especially the 2 bedroom suite, are huge. Had a nice breakfast, as far as continental breakfast goes. Of course, a lot can change in a few years, but would definitely try it again.

Seralago or Celebration Suites help me decide???

We have stayed at Seralago a few times. It is an older hotel. As a matter of fact it used to be a Holiday Inn. At one time it held the record as being the largest 2 level or non tower type Holiday Inn in the world. We have never had a problem staying there. Like I said it is old, and could use...

Just booked a room at Seralago...

We stayed there back in March. This was the 4th or 5th time I have stayed there over the years. It was fine. It could use some work, it hasn't changed much in the last few years. It has always been just an inexpensive, clean place to lay your head at night. I don't spend much time in my room, we...

Week of Columbus Day- will you be there?

We usually go down at that time, as we both work in the school system. Not looking to good for this year though. They took away most of our fall break!

Question about "day care" at WDW

Every child is different. But the best trips I have ever taken were with my son. The last 2 years, he was age 2 and 3, and he handled most of it better than we did. He napped during the day, in his stroller. So it was great. But to each his own.

Pre-trip report Fort Wilderness Tent Camping

Fort Wilderness is great. We stayed there in the fall, and had a great time. You will love it. It is big though. The campground is larger than any of the parks, so plan on using the bus system. There is a bus system inside the campground itself, it takes to either the outpost or the marina. From...

I need some help with finding a good pair of shoes/inserts for my trip.

the New Balance with the roll bar is the best shoe for your foot. I am not a doctor, but I used manage a store that sold these shoes and I received a lot of training on them. Crocs are comfy, but they provide no support. The New Balance has a graphite orthotic built into the mid sole of the...
