5 is the perfect age! My daughter's first trip was for her 5th birthday. That was 3 years ago and she still talks about all the fun stuff we did on that trip. Although she still finds it just as magical at 8, its not quite the same amazement (especially with characters) as it was at age 5.

To all those that dont want to lug around bottles to the parks. Bring a bottle with a Brita filter to get rid of the yuck taste. I will keep it empty in my backpack and then ask for 2 cups of water at the counter of QS places. Usually fills it most of the way up.

Do you have to tell the other girls where you are going? You could always just keep it as a secret between you and the 15 year old and tell the others that you are just going to Florida (no need to be specific).

Depends on if your group was planning on doing many sit down meals. If you like to have a few character meals or sit downs, then yes. If you werent planning on doing those anyway and just planned on grabbing something from a quick service place while on the go/only planned on 1 or 2 TS meals...

We ate there when we were down an waiting outside was MISERABLE! It was hot with the sun in full force so we were drenched in sweat by the time we got inside. It honestly not must have been that good because I cant even remember what I ate! Haha
