2018 The Wonder of Alaskan Cruise

Yes, still going to Alaska. Looks like they are planning a full season of Alaska cruises in 2022..first one is May 16, we were able to get a good rate for mid-June, same itinerary as late-July. We can not wait and have already started figuring out all of our port excursions, I think all we have...

2018 The Wonder of Alaskan Cruise

We did indeed have to postpone after originally scheduling it for June of this year...we took the future cruise credit and (with some additional funds) were able to upgrade to a navigators verandah for June of next year. Hopefully things will work out and life will be at least close to back to...

Alaska-What are your favorite port excursions?

Unfortunately my wife is not a fan of helicopters so that excursion is out for me. I bet it was a blast though!

Alaska-What are your favorite port excursions?

Which June 2021 sailing? Hopefully things will have settled down by then and there won't be anymore virus-related cancellations!

Alaska-What are your favorite port excursions?

Just booked 7-night Alaska cruise June 2021...obviously a long ways off, but interested in hearing what your favorite port excursions are/were for those of you who have done a Disney Alaska cruise. Also feel free to add any onboard activities that we should make sure not to miss. So far all of...

Alaska cruise, is 3k more worth it for verandah?

Thanks for the input. We ended up booking a category 9C Oceanview cabin with one large porthole. We considered an obstructed view verandah but based on the pictures of the available cabins they really seemed like a verandah with a large (probably larger) porthole rather than a wide open view...

Alaska cruise, is 3k more worth it for verandah?

For those of you who have gone on Alaska cruises, is it worth it to pay $3000 more for a verandah room than a room with a large porthole? We really like the idea of a verandah but we are wondering if it’s worth three grand more. If you’ve been on an Alaska cruise how much time did you spend on...

News New Stroller Size/Wagon Rules and Enforcement - Effective May 1 2019

My youngest will never be able to walk due to her severe disability and she is too small for a wheel chair. Are you saying she has no right to go to WDW?!?

    runDisney Star Wars Events

The Star Wars Rivals Run 5k will be my first runDisney event (though I did run the Castaway Cay 5k last year with a major stress fracture in my leg...but at least I finally got off the couch!). Any advice on the best way to get to the race start area? We will be staying at Port Orleans French...

News Casey Jr. Splash 'N' Soak Station closing for refurbishment

Needed, but seems like it would have made more sense to start this in December or January...we're already getting highs in the 80s down here.

Fingertips touch something on Space Mountain?

No way anyone is touching the ride track, supports, etc. as Phonedave wrote above, but if tall enough you can definitely touch the ceiling in the light tube/tunnel. (Probably shouldn't admit this but I do it every time I ride!)

    Alaska cruise itinerary question

Thanks @ZapperZ and @ChuckElias ! I had already looked at both of your trips reports and both were well worth the reads. Our 10-year anniversary isn't until 2021 so this cruise is a long ways off (fortunately we have another 4-night Bahama cruise planned for next year...and I keep telling my...

    Alaska cruise itinerary question

So it's a long ways off but planning an Alaska cruise for our 10-year anniversary. For those of you who have gone, or even if not if you just have some insight, which of the two 7-night Alaska cruise itineraries do you suggest? The cruise that stops at Icy Straight Point gives another location...

Wanting to book our first cruise but I need some help first!

There is a snorkeling trail at Castaway Cay. You can bring your own gear or rent (at a great price actually!) it there. As someone (Chuck I think) mentioned earlier, since this is your first Disney cruise you won't be able to reserve a cabana until 75 days out...I could do it at 90 days my last...
