For costumes, there are many different costumes. Some are nice, and some are...not so nice. I worked at Casey's, and mine was pretty nice (it was a baseball uniform costume). It was pretty comfy too.
I think the work depends on where exactly you are. If you are working in a counter-service restaurant, it is going to be a little bit more challenging then working a cart. Casey's could get really busy at times, so everyone would be rushing around. You could ask to be in a spot, but there is no guarantee.
