I disagree whole heartedly. Star Wars is literally the #1 IP in the movie business. When Disney announced a new “Rey” movie during Star Wars celebration it got luke warm response. Those are your fans and they do not want it. Are these new fans going to buy the merchandise? Disney must get this...

I think you need to look at the data TP2000 and others online have stated online. Obviously, you love the movie and that is great but Disney cannot sustain this model. Remakes and sequels will not keep this company afloat.

Alll major studios are losing money. That is why they are retooling, looking at costs, cutting the number of movies they will be creating, and will focus on quality. It takes time to turn around a big ship.
