    Muppet Mobile Lab

Just wanted to point out that the people who often get the most enjoyment from these types of things are children; you may not engaged by a mechanical dinosaur, but it's hard to gauge the impact that seeing what appears to be a real, live, walking dinosaur would have on a small child. Knowing...

    first trip to DL

Sorry to bump an ancient thread, but thanks everyone for their help. We had a fantastic time, no small thanks to your recommendations. Even after many, many WDW vacations, it felt like my first visit to Disney - it really felt genuine. And Indiana Jones is incredible. Someone was right when...

The Year of A Million Dreams strategy

Well, yeah :) the OP obviously did not know this, so I just thought it a little hasty for someone to jump all over him for asking. Politeness all around, really!

The Year of A Million Dreams strategy

I kind of see what you're saying, and having worked in the retail business at a prominent tourist spot in South Carolina, I do know that sometimes people can think of employees as.. well, less than human. However, I think you're forgetting something: if it weren't for these guests acting...

    Worst Revamped Rides Poll

You mean the pre-show that was barely changed from the AE one? I'm fairly convinced SIR has the exact same movements, they just re-recorded his speech. And they left Skippy in there.. I mean, I can't believe I'm about to say this, but it almost feels like a lazy refurb :lookaroun

    Attractions that you always skipped.

I've been to WDW 20+ times.. and I don't recall ever riding Jungle Cruise. This is the part where I hang my head in shame. (Though last week, on my first trip ever to Disneyland.. I rode their Jungle Cruise. I have no explanation.) And I've never been to Tom Sawyer Island.

    WDW Alone

Yeah, I've considered going on my own, but decided that would be the major deterrent for me... not so much on rides like Tower of Terror and Rock 'N RollerCoaster, but on stuff like PotC, HM, Space Ranger Spin, Peter Pan, Philharmagic, MV3D, etc., I'd feel a little silly, because I still love to...

    first trip to DL

Wow, everyone sure is nice here. Thanks so much for the help - we leave tomorrow night! I can't wait.. the last time I was on Toad's Wild Ride, I was only about 13 or 14, and it's always been one of my favorite rides, so that one will be extra special for me. And yeah, I'm a little bummed...

    Robin Hood

Robin Hood was always one of my favorites too. It's very fun and whimsical and the animals/voice talent they chose to portray the characters were absolutely perfect; I still remember how shocked and sad it made me when I saw the Sheriff of Nottingham tax the family and steal from the blind guy...

Attractions that would signal the end of Disney

What one thing would you take home?

That's so awesome. I can't think of anything that would be cooler than that thing.. maybe the robot dog from Space Mountain or something from HM, like the self-playing piano or one of the paintings in the dining room scene.
