Just wanna give a shoutout to the theme painters who worked on the Castle of Magical Dreams! The paint job really saved the actual thing from looking like the jumbled multicolor mess of the initial concept rendering imo.

If they had painted the top main roof blue as well then the whole look might be more cohesive 😕

I honestly would have liked it a lot better if they had stuck to the colour scheme in this concept art: a lot of dark blues, golds and copper greens. Looks a lot more realistic and majestic.

Well at least we know that the towers are all easily replaceable since they are prefabricated modules So should they ever decide to harmonise the jumbled mess with actual fitting Gothic/Bavarian towers and spires (though chances of this happening is near zero) we know that it's possible 😂🤷‍♂️...

Yes!!! I was afraid that the red-blue colour scheme and jumbled towers would end up looking like a huge mess, but this is one of those rare cases where the actual thing is miles better than the concept art!!!

Meanwhile, the castle painting seems to be going along nicely!

Perhaps unrelated but I find this statement quite xenophobic and racist. Not all mainlanders are unhygienic; overgeneralising is not what we need in this current world climate.

I guess I'm still in shock over how weird the colour combination and architectural features in this castle are when we have others like SBC (not Paris), CC and ESC that are still deeply rooted in existing European features and schemes and generally go for a simpler/more realistic colour palette.
