Whenever we ride, it's usually "The Grand Circle Tour" so we don't skip the walk up main street. We once sat in the last seats and spent the time talking to the conductor. I highly suggest it. It's very informative and this fellow was more than happy to answer any questions about the train...

December, 1996. My fondest memory is either seeing the castle for the first time (even though it was a cake, it was still "fond"), or seeing the look on my wife's face when we first entered the MK through the train station. She had tears in her eyes, she was so happy.

I know every job has a certain level of stress, but could you elaborate on the types of stress that are involved? I guess one would not instantly relate stress and WDW. It's a side of WDW that the ordinary clod (like me) wouldn't consider. Thanks for any insight.

My two cents... It may be old fashioned, but I'd still like to see the Matterhorn Bobsleds built somewhere. Either in the 20k lagoon area or someplace in epcot.

It couldn't be a "Mickey" jet. It would HAVE to be a "Dumbo" jet!!!!!!!

I don't know about anyone else, but i can hear the PA announcement now..."Welcome, one and all, to Walt Disney World International Airport...." If I'm not mistaken, an airport was in Walt's original plans for Disney World anyway. Stay tuned, I guess.

sorry for the thread drift but.... isn't there a walking path from the MK to the Grand Floridian now? I thought I've seen one from the monorail...

The free standing "carts" around the HM and LS do have some HM merchandise on them (Plastic skeletons, etc.).

We got ours in 1998 and it's at the TTC too. It's towards the back and way to the left. I think when everyone bought theirs, they had dreams of it being right in front of the MK entrance. I know I did. It's still neat to go back and visit it every now and then.

Main Street snow is neat, but don't eat it. I agree that the best view of the parade is on MSUSA. For those of us who go to WDW only in the winter months (December, right before Christmas) it's a treat in itself to be in the MK after dark. Night time puts a different spin on a lot of the...
