WDW Railroad closing for a short period in April

Part of the refurb is to replace the tile on the loading area of Main Street station. The work started last month on the side where the welcome show takes place, and will be continuing after reopening with the queue area.

    Disney After Hours Event

Sorry if this is a duplicate. I didn't see this posted anywhere else, but I heard a rumor about a new event coming to the Magic Kingdom. It would be called "Disney After Hours" and will be starting April 14. It would be an after hours event, with select attractions open for three hours after...

Walls are down and they're starting soft openings today. Open now, taking walk ins all day.

New food offering opening in Future World

The food cart outside of Test Track will be reopening next week (Monday from what I've heard). This cart was the pizza cart before Test Track closed for refurbishment, and will be reopening as "Taste Track Eats." It will feature "gourmet" grilled cheeses, as well as soups and salads. A nice...

IBM's THINK and Test the Limits exhibits to close in early January

I heard a rumor that Innoventions West as a whole will be closing in April, and that the Test the Limits area is being replaced by an exhibit sponsored by Glidden Paints. Supposedly with a Wonderful World of Color tie in, to open next December.

    Dinosaur Carnotaurus

Rode it yesterday, and everything seemed to be working normally. Dino was on the right side, and was working really well! Additionally, everything else (except the pterodactyl) looked great IMO.

Walt Disney World Monorail system to operate on revised schedule from September 1

Just a question since you mention it a few times. What's considered an ample amount of time to automate a monorail system? I personally have no experience automating monorails. Since it's something they haven't done before, I understand the timeline not being exact. Don't get me wrong...

    New Anna/Elsa standby procedure?

It started, and ended, today. They issued cards until they ran out (which was around 5:00). When they ran out and closed the Standby line, not allowing anyone else to ride for the day...it got ugly, and the line was reopened by 5:30. Not sure if the test will continue tomorrow.

    New Anna/Elsa standby procedure?

I didn't see it anywhere, though it might be posted elsewhere, but the test will be run starting this week at Soarin'. It will be a three day test there, running the 29-31 of July. It's going to work just like it has been at Anna and Elsa, fill the Standby line then hand out return time tickets.
