Not sure when you went but this isn't true as of June 2019. I used my U.S. Chase credit card to book and pay for Disneyland Hotel and several restaurants. Pretty much every place in the park accepted the card, even popcorn stands.
Ya because everyone who likes to have a drink with their meals obviously has a problem! People who want to get drunk in MK already do anyway so, the anti alcohol rules are really only stopping non troublemakers from enjoying a drink or two while those who want to get drunk at the park still...
I just booked a trip for the end of may. Got a nice discount and had my pick of ADR times, including ohana. Honestly I think my last 4-5 trips have all been booked around three months out. As long as you are experienced a couple months is more than enough time.
Keep in mind, this is a family vacation something will likely go wrong! Thats the nature of the beast. Having expectations of the perfect vacation is the surest way to ruin a vacation, especially at Disney. The number of family meltdowns that occur at Disney due to expectations of perfection...
Rainforest cafe is pretty old and the animatronics are very dated.
The atmosphere and technology in TRex is much nicer and the restaurant is alot newer.
Both have similar mediocre to good food.
Assuming you are like most people and usually tip around 20% for good service you will actually be saving 22%. The only way you would only be getting 2% off of your meal is if you are normally a ridiculously cheap tipper.
In essence just consider the TIW card as paying for all your gratuities.
I have driven from dayton a couple of times. By best advice is don't do it. It's a long boring drive. The drive back is especially brutal. Best advice for a place to stop is macon georgia. Lots of hotels, safe, over half way there.
Not to sound like a jerk but since you were sick for three days after eating the burger it was almost for sure not food poisoning. Considering how many people you encountered on vacation you most likely just picked something up. Pretty much every disease known to man is circulating around...
Exactly. I'm sure obnoxious kids and rude parents cause way more headaches to others than the occasional drunk at wdw. I'm so sick of people calling for things to be banned just because they don't like it. I don't like plenty of things but that doesn't mean I don't think others should be...
If you can't afford tipping 20% for good service then you shouldn't be eating there. Like it or not tips are just a part of the cost of a meal in the US. I like it that way because it makes the servers work harder. I'm sure service would decline if all waiters made a fixed wage. Most are...
