I just booked a trip for the end of may. Got a nice discount and had my pick of ADR times, including ohana. Honestly I think my last 4-5 trips have all been booked around three months out. As long as you are experienced a couple months is more than enough time.

Rainforest cafe is pretty old and the animatronics are very dated. The atmosphere and technology in TRex is much nicer and the restaurant is alot newer. Both have similar mediocre to good food.
