Have any insiders heard anything about current plans for the broken ground lighting?

Agree, I just wish they would go back to the gull wing waterfalls that used to be there. I unfortunately never got to experience them, but in photos they looks awesome!

Thats why I was assuming the previous poster didn't have friends who are structural engineers that looked at the construction drawings and ran numbers themselves.

Projects don't make it to the stage of a full drawing set if they are not possible to build (I'm a Senior Project Manager with a degree in Architecture Sciences, so I do know just a little bit about the process). It would have been determined if it was not something that could be done or not...

and I'm sure your sources saw the drawing sets and ran all the numbers and determined it wasn't possible to build...

Wonder if they are replacing, or just cleaning them?

We ended up changing our plans and are doing skipper canteen which we eat at every trip and know what to expect. Thats kinda sad about the food not being great, the last time we ate there (pre kids) was when it was still a counter service at lunch and at that time the food wasn't bad.

Not to worried about him getting scared, this kid has no fear most of the time and if he does get scared of something all we normally have to do is explain its not going to hurt him and he is okay. He's been to WDW before and experienced characters with no problems we just haven't done BOG with...

We are debating changing our dining plans entirely for our MK day now, but that is good to know in case we stick with what we've got planned!

We have lunch reservations at BOG in December. It’ll be 2 adults and a 2 year old. I know that being 2 he wouldn’t be forced to have to pay for the kids pre fixe meal, but is there an a la carte option to order food for him? He’s at the age where he would rather have his own meal instead of eat...

This would be awesome. Ive yet to see the epcot hub in person and our next trip starts the week of Dec 16th.
