It’s really quite incredible when you think about all the horrible decisions that were made post 2019. I know Chapek gets a lot of the blame (and rightfully so) but part of me wonders how this system that was universally unliked stayed in place even after Chapeks departure.

Lockdowns should never be on the table ever again. They don’t work and actually make the fight against COVID more difficult because you remove natural immunity from the equation.

Jim Cramer said it best yesterday on CNBC: it’s time we stop tracking positive cases and start simply tracking hospitalizations and deaths. This “uptick” we are seeing doesn’t tell the whole story as hospitalizations and deaths continues to remain low (outside of a few pockets).

In a workplace setting that makes total sense. However, don’t forget that those traveling to the US require a negative test to enter. IMO this is going to be almost impossible to navigate with the inaccuracy of the PCRs.
