I tend to agree with these type of thread, already we have nixed out at least once a year trip. Its the nickle and diming for everything. Last Went Nov 2021 to Epcot, could not get any lightening lane passes or virtual queues even when trying at the opening times. Our group had some that bought...
Sounds like its hard to pinpoint on whats going on.
I do have to agree with

Disney's recent price increases and service cuts (FP+, MDE, MB, etc.) are driving Guests away in droves.
My family is heading to FL next month for a almost week long vacation to get away. In the past...
This is definitely a weekly topic. I use to love staying on site, starting a good 20 years ago when All Star was $59 a night and then a few years later that came with Magical Express talk about a no brainer. I loved being in the bubble and being able to start my vacation right away.
That being...
I will be curious to see what happens in a year or two when this pent up demand eases, will enough people still pay?
As for my family personally, we are no longer going like we use to. We use to plan at least 1 or 2 trips a year but everything has increased substantially while things like ME...
I wonder, no ME and will the hotel prices go down if part of your hotel price was the hidden costs of ME. I still wonder why they did not start changing Magical Express next year. Majority of disney visitors have kids, including me, and ME is a game changer and I would gladly pay for the ME...
Very interesting thread and I am sure its the lessening benefits have been talked about so much (no Magical Express, fast passes, etc)
I use to rarely consider staying off site but that has changes the last couple of trips as the benefits to staying on site have gone down.
Our next two trips we...
Think I chimed in earlier but reading what has been said its about the perk going away, as it seems so many of the perks are going away.
Also as someone mentioned, its the first and last part of your trip. My kids love the Magical Express and I am glad to pay more at a Disney hotel for the...
I think its a horrible move to end ME. I always use it when we stay on property and it makes for a lot less stressful of a vacation. I have rented a car before but that was ages ago. Now there are parking fees and all sorts of things that make me never want to rent one.
Now with Kids, we will...
I think it looks GREAT!!! Last time I was there it was hot out and that front area was just baking in the heat and not inviting at all. AND I had a leave a legacy on one of the monoliths , sad to see them go but it looks much better.
ANYONE know if the leave a legacy images are displayed...
I like it, even though I like the 60's style of the old one (think that what it was) but it was looking dated in a not great layout way, etc. I like they used the solar panels and are using it to create shade, great use of solar panels
This one is wide open..
For us
Money is stick point one
Vaccine or treatment which would lesson our worry if we did get exposed
What rides are open, not paying full price for half the attraction to be closed.
What will they have in place safety wise
I liked the ban the last time I visited in the fall. I can remember several times where people where smoking not in a designated area. I think the outright ban makes it much easier to not have to deal with it.
A huge plus, my kids dont have to breath it in.
