We bought one at the Disney Store for our 13 year old DS to use in May. The cards states that it is good for "Shop, Fun and Food" in WDW and DTD. The cards also states some restaurants in DTD are excluded.

I agree!! We try to be a cash only family. We do not carry debt except for our morgage. My sister and her husband feel the same way. They will not go to WDW unless they can save enough for the trip.
