Ah yes, the thing that makes EPCOT unique amongst the other parks: Mickey Mouse.
For a park that was NEVER meant to have him in the first place...Ah yes, the thing that makes EPCOT unique amongst the other parks: Mickey Mouse.
I never understood why Figment is not the main character to represent EPCOT. They could do a lot with Figment, not sure why they don’t.
This.., I grew up with original Epcot…so I get it…but my wife’s 1st trip to the world was in 2004..,so she only rode figment’s sorry excuse for a ride.. she cannot stand Figment… as it stands a Figment mascot would only appeal to the EPCOT Center purists, not the masses… it would not workHonestly, if he were to become the "main" mascot again for the park, I'd rather he had better representation in terms of an attraction first.
It's so you don't confuse it for an attraction.LOL at the sign.
Creations looks fine (good, even), but why the insistence on "shop"? It even looks tacked on to the sign as an afterthought.
It looks like when a classroom divider is opened up halfway. What is up with the zig-zag wall under the overhang? It has a display case on one side and then nothing on the other. For those in the park, does it add a small expansion to the store or is it just nothing? Looks awkward. Like it's not done yet.
This was my thought also, hardcore fans love Figment (and we know his history) but most visitors would probably have no idea who he was if the main store was about him.This.., I grew up with original Epcot…so I get it…but my wife’s 1st trip to the world was in 2004..,so she only rode figment’s sorry excuse for a ride.. she cannot stand Figment… as it stands a Figment mascot would only appeal to the EPCOT Center purists, not the masses… it would not work

scum, doesn’t help that idiots actually buy it for insane prices on eBay
Indeed. This shop is a massive step up, and even though they've been pounding on the Mickey theming in social media postings, it's ultimately not terribly overwhelming and there's way more EPCOT detailing throughout the space than there was before. I'd like it if the two large murals were a bit different, but it's not going to spoil it for me.Not people complaining about the use of Mickey when the old stop they praise was called… MouseGear and had… Mickey.
It's beautiful, as Epcot should be.Indeed. Most items have been restocked. But the eBay sellers are back in there cleaning up again.
