I was there because I was concerned with potential side effects - I wasn’t there to question a vaccine I already got.

He’s part of the #1 rated office in my town which is part of a larger network.

It’s scary that people want medical professionals to lose their jobs if they don’t agree with the “official” take.

I'm not saying they should lose their jobs. But they should be required to publicize their "take" on vaccines and personal vaccination status, not keep their opinions confidential. Transparency in health care and all that.

That's true. I know that some specialists ( cardiologist) and RNs working in hospitals refuse to be vaccinated.

Looks like yes, vaccinated folks if SYMPTOMATIC spread it as easily for the first few days. Then it drops rapidly for them unlike unvaxxed people

But doesn’t it seem that there would be less chance of a vaccinated person being infected, let alone both infected and symptomatic? I was asking if people think they have the same chance of getting infected from a vaccinated person as from an unvaccinated person.

That's the argument I feel like people are making with this. It's not the 1 out of 1000 incident that is important. It's that 1 exists at all. Unlike with a lit cigarette, people don't know who and when they are lit.

Since I am only hanging out with vaccinated people, my chance of getting infected *is* higher that I would get it from a vaccinated person instead of unvaccinated.

That’s not the argument at all. We were talking about medical professionals who are deciding not to get vaccinated and a poster indicated that vaccinated people can also spread the virus. I don’t know about you, but I would rather go to a doctor who is vaccinated than an unvaccinated one.

I know there are. They shouldn't be working. I think it's shameful to be part of the medical profession and not be vaccinated.
Luckily hospital systems in many places are now mandating Covid vaccinations for their employees.

But are they limiting admission privileges of physicians who are not vaccinated? If not are they allowed to be the attending physician?
