If you have insurance, almost certainly that. Much like the flu shot, they much rather pay for that than have you potentially go to the hospital which will be much more expensive for them.
Yea I had Pfizer, not by choice. Guess we will see. I thought Moderna was also creating a booster.The J&J study was pretty promising as well if I remember correctly. Hey maybe all those people who said “Pfizer is the best” will be the only ones who have to go back for a booster!

It does not matter! The price is paid one way or another Insurance or Government (which We The People fund w tax's). There is no free.

Not just business travel but crews on container vessels and other commercial carriers then there are those that purposely work at avoiding being detected as they cross boarders.
I agree. Pfizer may just be noting a trend in their trial participants who are closing in on 10-11 months since vaccinated. That data may not yet be published, and provide insight that the FDA and CDC may not have . I think Pfizer has more than enough existing demand worldwide, so if they are saying that data may be presenting itself that a booster is useful sooner rather than later, I do not think it is a fictitious capitalistic ploy
Well to be fair Moderna is not as widely used as Pfizer so not sure that is a good thing to go off of. The vaccines are so stinking close that I doubt it would be the case.

Joking but not as I was reading about how genetics really does affect how people are. Could explain why some families were hit super hard and others not. Genetics either can help or hurt a person.
I agree. That’s why the approach to opening first to countries with high vaccination rates makes a lot of sense too. Letting visitors from the UK and Canada into the US makes more sense since we have similar vaccination levels.
This is why it’s almost better to make a policy that requires vaccination to enter the country. Then your only exception is American citizens returning home and they would still have to show a negative test result at least.
Yes many factors could come into play. Genetics, time of vaccination ( her’s vaccination was a month after mine), initial viral exposure. Initial immune system response relative to initial virus load , and of course different vaccines. Lots of things to confound someone from determining the root causes for one of us to get it and not the other. That is why individual cases may be more difficult to use to determine correlation than when they combine that into larger dataset results ( such as the original 15000 Pfizer vaccinated people workdwide) that Pfizer has visibility into.Well to be fair Moderna is not as widely used as Pfizer so not sure that is a good thing to go off of.
