Well that begs the question: what does the 37 stand for?

It stands for as long as it doesn't fall over or the age I tell everyone that I am because I love the look of fear that crosses their faces when they think that is what they will look like when they turn 37.

Not entirely sure, but Snow White was originally released in '37 so that's why all the Grumpy merchandise has the number 37 on it. Snow White was the first fully animated feature film released by Disney so the number 37 has special meaning, but not sure why it would be in France.

Snow White was based on a German fairy tale, so I would agree with you that the "37" if it has a hidden meaning is probably a reference to the year Snow White came out since that was the biggest thing Disney had ever done.

The items hanging by the light are a logbook and a two way radio for the operator of this conveyance.

Here's another clue: It is at a resort, not one of the parks.
