Primeval Whirl, Stitch's Great Escape and Rivers of Light are now permanently closed

Two attractions at Disney's Animal Kingdom and one at Magic Kingdom will not reopen.

RoL surprises me the most since that could be a show they could operate at some point in this Covid world. Distanced seating and no actors on the boats.

Primeval Whirl and Stitch were no surprise. Rivers of Light is a bit of a surprise. Seems like it was a low money burner. Very interesting.

One can hope that this means Dinoland will get redone entirely at some point. RoL was OK but not worth seeing twice.

Never got to really see RoL, I saw part of it from the bridge once, but could never get a seat to watch it as it was too crowded... Ah the good old days (2019)

That's surprising news. I'd imagine post-COVID though they might reintroduce a nighttime show to AK? Probably using a lot of the current infrastructure?
