Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Very annoying about the neighbor's dog. I do like how you blended metric and imperial measurements in your post.
I noticed that too - but I would have called it real and fake measurements.
And the fireworks start again. They are the ones that go way up in the air. This is a residential area.
Going on here too. And my dog is out of Xanax. Which means he’s drooling and panting like crazy.

Canada US border closure extended another 4 weeks. See you July 22nd.

Maybe.
From what you have talked about I don't think we are that dependent on how much the average Canadian tourist spends down here, with the exception of you and Mike (mostly you, I suspect). When Wall Street hears that we are going to be deprived of Jennifer's buying impulses, the Dow will drop like a large stone. I think the economy should make an exception, by name, for border crossing privileges. 😉 🤔

I Googled when Amazon Prime Day will be this year. It's normally in July. They are speculating that it will be in September due to the pandemic.

I was hoping it would still be in July to give me something to do on those days. I don't work, and last year I spent both days searching for deals and adding things to my waitlist. I had a lot of fun, actually. But if it's during September, I'll be back to work and won't catch all the deals. I got some great, hardcover books for cheap last year.

I usually use Amazon Prime day and Black Friday to get donations for local rescues. All the pet supplies are always on great sales. This year I'm not really in a financial position for it, so I haven't paid any attention to it. But I'm hoping by Black Friday I will be. At Meijer you can get $250 of pet supplies for only $100 if you choose wisely!

That's a great idea - I need to remember to do this.

So there are new entry and exit protocols for my office building. This morning while entering through the now mandatory revolving door, I pushed with all my might with my right foot forward and ran the door over my trailing left foot. In all my years opening revolving doors (which I hate, by the way, since I am short and never seem to be able to generate the power necessary to move the darn door) I have NEVER ran over my other foot. So yeah, it's going to be THAT kind of day, I guess.

If it makes you feel any better, I have yet to get out of bed.

I'm actually surprised. Through all of the school closing I've still been waking up between 7 and 8 every day. I thought I'd be past 9 by now. I mean, I technically had to wake up for work, but I really could have worked whenever I wanted. I just had some meetings to attend, but those were either late morning or early afternoons.

I totally get what you are saying.
For me, there are Saturdays that I plan to sleep in until 11am. It never happens. I'm awake by 8:30am and I linger until 9:30am and then I get up. Always feeling disappointed that I can't just sleep in.
