Oh my. I hope that doesn’t happen for us!

Did it happen there?

I just don’t know what is everyone going to do??? Bring their kids to work for 3 weeks?? Is the school year going to be extended now??

This is so crazy. I can’t even process at this moment.

I think a lot of people do not realize what an upheaval this is to working parents. I really don’t. All I can do is hope that companies all over the country will realize it, and will work with parents to get thru this time.

You may be out of the EU but bedrock still connects you to mainland Europe -----You can't fool mother nature
Yeah, The European union is a collection of European nations that joined together for economic reasons. However, unless they managed to pick up the UK and move it off a land mass on the European continent it is still in Europe, but not one that is part of the group.

I bought gasoline today at the price of $2.33 per gallon. That's not the lowest in my town, Costco beats that...but among the "regular" stations in town, it is the lowest. Our town has:
Sunoco, Speedway, Exxon, etc. Yet I pass by Wawa (cheaper than the three I just listed) and that's where I paid $2.33 per gallon.
I heard on the radio that the Saudis and the Russians were in a battle for the oil market and prices were WAY DOWN because of that. Funny, I don't notice it at the pump!
$1.99 per gal. in certain areas of Raleigh. I got that price about 3 weeks ago too.

On the plus side- I return to work tomorrow. Apparently I’m needed when we’re in crisis mode. 🙄
Opposite for me probably. We're probably going to go to telecommuting for salaried employees next week would be my guess. My boss went in for a meeting for it today.

We have a new team member who has been here for four months. The policy is normally you have to be there for six months before you can work from home. I was feeling guilty because my boss bent the rules for me and let me work from home after three months (the policy wasn't as strict then). Whelp, he's working from home tomorrow as a test run because we'll all have to work from home probably, and after that he'll probably be subject to the same policy. No more guilt.

Just saw a report of closure on Sunday for WDW. Haven’t heard anything about school/work yet.

This is exactly why I was so upset yesterday. I have a huge spread with 3 moniters that I USE. Working at home is not comparable at all.. I don’t have that kind of set up.
I actually bought a monitor to use at home. So I have my laptop screen and my monitor. I need my work from home days with having chronic health issues. I also need two monitors and a keyboard.

I was also sent home with a stack of letterhead because I'm the only one on my team with a printer...have I mentioned how much I hate paper? And printers? And yet I am stuck with this? 😂
